Cable management basics

A clean cable run comes down to three choices: how you route it, which fastener holds it, and whether the run ever needs to open again. Route cable along baseboards and trim and anchor it at close intervals — anchored runs stay neat, with no sag between anchor points.

Nail-in cable clips fasten a single run flush to walls — each pairs a UL-approved 94V-2 Nylon 6/6 body with a pre-inserted hardened steel, zinc-plated nail for wood, drywall, plaster, or masonry, in 4, 6, 8, and 10 mm (0.16–0.39 in) bore sizes; 6 mm / 0.24 in is the standard for most coax, HDMI, and network cable. Self-locking cable ties cinch once and hold until cut off; reusable hook-and-loop ties and the 3/4 in × 15 ft roll wrap and reopen without tools. Screw-mounted tie mounts anchor a tied bundle, and flexible TPU holders with 3M acrylic-foam adhesive handle surfaces you cannot drill — and remove without residue.
